In these times of uncertainty, I wanted to take a moment and address the current situation. For all couples whose wedding is upon us, I hope planning your big day has been going smoothly thus far! I know how stressful wedding planning can be, and certainly this COVID-19 situation doesn’t make things any easier. I’m here to assure you that you, our team of vendors and myself are all in this together!
Some of my current couples have reached out to ask for guidance on how to handle certain wedding aspects. I’m sure that you’re starting to feel the anxiety mount with each day, and with each news report and development. I fully understand and empathize all of your concerns. My main advice for the moment is to take things as they come, take a breath and a beat and focus on the things we can control.
First off, I wanted to assure my couples and potential couples that I have every intention of fulfilling my role as your wedding planner and that my business and my team are prepared. I’m staying updated on the latest information from the CDC, the WHO and local French authorities. I’m avoiding any travel to outbreak hotspots and continuing to work from my home. And most importantly, I’m continually practicing good hygiene.
Second, my entire team of vendors, venues and myself are overly flexible in terms of postponements. We share your anxiety and fears and are taking things day by day. Like you, we’re all a bit anxious about the things we don’t know and that are out of our control. Our number one priority is YOU and we will do whatever we can to provide support, guidance and availability in order to continue our work and provide you with an incredible wedding experience. Again, and I cannot stress this enough, we are ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!
I’d love to know how you’re feeling about the situation. Do let me know if you have any questions or concerns about your wedding and please don’t hesitate to reach out.
