Katherine & Barrett’s intimate and classic destination micro wedding in Paris was not short on love and laughter. Together with a hand full of their family and loved ones they celebrated their love in the City of Light. Molly Carr Photography and Hello Super Studios were there to capture their Parisian love story!

On a warm late summer morning, the NOLA couple gleefully prepared for the day in their respective chambres de bonne. Katherine and her girls danced with delight as she stepped into her show stopping satin gown with a jeweled back. (Just look at that train!!) A bouquet of neutral colored blooms completed her wedding day look.

The groom wore a royal blue suit to keep in the theme of “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue”. The bride even donned blue jeweled Badgley Mischka heels to match her beau!

A classic 1955 white Citroën Traction waited downstairs to whisk the bride away top meet her groom for the couple’s first look. The groom took his place in a secluded spot in the Champ de Mars, the park near the foot of the Eiffel Tower. When it was finally time to see his bride, his face beamed with delight! After the pair enjoyed some quiet time together, they headed to their church ceremony at the American Church in Paris.

Their portrait session ticked all the “iconic hotspots in Paris” boxes! The Champ de Mars, Trocadéro, Pont Alexandre III and Jardin des Tuileries were all on their “destination micro wedding in Paris” menu du jour!

The couple then headed to their private wedding dinner at a traditional French restaurant behind the Palais Royal. Guests were welcomed into the restaurant by a live violinist and cellist. They sipped on champagne and nibbled on passed canapés while the string duet set the mood. Their dinner table was accented with soft candle light and romantic fine art style florals. A single rose sat atop each guest’s menu. “Madame” & “Monsieur” signs designated the bride and groom’s place at the table. Once their 4-course dinner was complete, the couple cut their vanilla buttercream wedding cake and thanked their family and friends for celebrating with them. The perfect ending to a classically romantic destination micro wedding in Paris!
