The inspiration behind their design was to create a luxury destination wedding on the French Riviera that was organic and elegant with romantic fine art touches. We curated each design element to highlight the natural beauty of the Château Saint Georges-Grasse and the region of the Côte d’Azur!
The day began with the beauty for the bride and a dip in the pool for the groom. The bride looked like a dream in her floral lace patterned off the shoulder Monique Lhuillier gown and matching floor length veil!
Alyssa and Aaron pivoted from tradition and had a private champagne toast and cake cutting during their first look! They enjoyed chocolate cake with raspberry cream that they took back to their room as an end of the night snack to cap off the evening. As the bride and groom had their portrait session, their guests were welcomed to the ceremony with lemon and mint flavored water and champagne.
For their garden inspired ceremony, a tall floral arch covered with pink dahlias (the most beautiful pink blooms the couple had ever seen!), spray roses and sweet peas (amongst other blooms) welcome the couple to the entrance of the aisle. Florals also sat on the steps at the top of the aisle, so as to surround the bride and groom during the ceremony. A live band performed a rendition of “How Long Will I Love You” by Ellie Goulding, as the bride walked down the aisle.
During the cocktail hour, they nibbled on an array of passed canapés and sipped on “Mexican Time” and “Paper Plane” cocktails, the couple’s signature drinks of choice! All the while, a live jazz trio serenaded the guests.
Dinner took place on the lawn overlooking the riviera below. A mix of round and rectangular tables, dinner chairs styles and string lighting set the mood for a whimsical romantic meets contemporary fine art ambiance! Guests enjoyed a 3-course plated dinner of sea bream tartare, lamb three ways and a “field’s queen biscuit”. As a late night snack, guests snacked on an assortment macarons and mini croques monsieur. Ooh la la!
Once the sun set and dinner was done, guests made their way inside the gold gilded ballrooms of the château. The bride and groom had their first dance to an acoustic version of “Wild Love” by James Bay… there was not a dry eye in the house. Once the dance floor was officially open, that’s when the party started!
A note from the Bride:
“Jenn is absolutely fantastic! My husband and I are so lucky to have gotten the chance to work with her. To say our wedding was spectacular would be an understatement! Truly. Everything Jenn creates is beautiful. I encourage you to go to her Instagram and website for more photos of her outstanding work. She and her team are professional, and I am immensely grateful to them. She created the wedding of our dreams, and it was a joy to work with her. From the bottom of our hearts to you, thank you, Jenn! (I want to credit Molly Carr Photography for these photos here as well. We never would have found her if it weren’t for Jenn!)”
