The overall design aesthetic of their Normandy wedding was joyful, modern, elegant and haute gamme fashion! We used a neutral color palette of different shades of cream, ivory and taupe paired with a dramatic touch of black to really bring the drama.
The incredible floral design featured various varieties of garden roses, peonies, iris, lisianthus, delphiniums and larkspur. The design of the deconstructed ceremony arch was echoed in the dramatic fireplace mantle installation in the dining room.
While a live singer and pianist added to the already jovial ambiance, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour that featured passed hors d’oeuvres, truffle risotto freshly cooked in a wheel of Parmesan, and, of course, wine and champagne. Signature drinks included a Pimm’s Cup and an Aperol Spritz. For their multi-course dinner, guests dined on beet ravioli, fillet of veal, and what seemed like a never-ending buffet of desserts!
It was essential to the bride and groom to create a real party vibe atmosphere for their dance reception. As this fun factor was of the utmost importance, a full live band and DJ was on site to keep everyone on the dance floor until the wee hour of the night!
