Laurel & Chris’ fine art wedding at Château de Champlâtreux was an exquisite display of true love Renaissance style!

Our lovely Chicago based couple gathered around 40 guests to join them just outside of Paris at Château de Champlâtreux, an 18th century built castle, to celebrate in their intimate wedding festivities! The couple’s romantic sunrise photoshoot in The City of Light set the tone for a wedding day that as full of fashion, fine art, food and fun.

The morning ended with our bride & groom enjoying café lattes and croissants at an almost empty Parisian terrace. They took this quiet moment to reflect ahead of the following day’s wedding adventure!

Our bride began her morning beauty preparations in “le Salon Blue” at Château de Champlâtreux. As the château is filled with such history and fine art splendour, she wanted to surround herself in its natural beauty for as long as she could!

As our bride prepared for the day, her groom did the same in his private quarters!

Before their guests arrived, Laurel & Chris reunited in the front of the château for their first look.

Our original idea was to have the ceremony in the garden in front of the magnificent fountain. However, the rain had other plans. Instead, the ceremony was held indoors in the marble floored vestibule. This made for a cozy, intimate and even more romantic atmosphere.

Once the I do’s were exchanged, it was time to clink glasses! The bride and groom kicked off the cocktail hour with their champagne fountain! As the rain stopped just after the ceremony, signature cocktails and passed canapés were in the back garden as a jazz trio played in the background.

As the sun began to set, guests were invited to find their place for dinner. Guests gathered in “Le Salon du Billard” to enjoy a 3-course dinner where each course had it’s own wine pairing.

The evening was capped off in “Le Grand Salon” where after guests enjoyed dinner drinks and dancing!
